I'm not OMAD but I eat one big meal (lunch) and just a small one in the evening. It is amazing how much more I get done when not distracted by food/hunger. Of course it only works because I'm carnivore. Animal protein holds for so much longer than other foods.

I was a vegan for ~10 years and could simply _not_ skip a meal

Vegan for 12 years. Started eating fish at 30, meat at 31 and feel incredible. Eggs the biggest impact of health I think. No seed oils, local veggies and lots of water!

Still learning but was happy with this steak

looks amazing

Fantastic 🫡

How did you feel being vegan!?

great at first

like shit towards the end

he didn't know at the time, but I had my first bite of meat in 10 years having lunch with #[4] when we first met

I have heads from many former vegans that they hit a wall at about 7 years… just starts to make them feel like crap…

I am glad you are finding what make you feel better and productive

that was exactly my experience

Its an initial boost from cutting out crap then a slow decline from missing vital nutrients

Honoured😂

Ribeye? Burgers? Other?

Chicken burrows in salad. Baby steps

Yep. Same with me when I was vegan. Constantly eating. Hangry a lot too.

not surprised, a prolific nostr maker uses meal sizing/timing to improve productivity

Yeah binge eating/snacking was only happening for me when I wasn’t taking care to eat enough meat/cheese. There was a time I was overweight and eating huge bowls of rice/pasta and rarely being satiated

Which was a quality over quantity issue: I was starving for protein but thinking that tons of calories was what it meant to “eat well”

yeah, I think I fell for the same; including eating lots of veggies thinking fiber would slow down the digestive system

But that was also a time where I wasn’t getting enough natural sunlight OR water OR meaningful/creative work, so no surprises there 😂
