It took me 45 years to really accept that nobody is perfect; to stop writing off smart people because they act stupid on one topic.

Not sure if I should be embarrassed that it took so long or just pleased that I got there at all.

Far too many people focus on what divides us when it is much more productive to focus on what unites us.
