I never understood evs for rentals. I'm in a new city or country not knowing the geography at all.

I will be doing long Road trips... Ev seemed like a terrible rental.

First the ev rentals were more expansive to rent than ice. Then they were cheaper... Still nobody wanted them.

The other day my car was in for repair and the dealership cheerfully offered me an eV courtesy car as if it was a luxury offer. I said hell no (in polite words).

"They had they in the sun and got fried"
