Ha! I'm surprised but also not... Apple and any other behemoth like it want to keep control as much as possible and people seem not to realize how much freedom that is restricting. Because everyone is too busy doom-scrolling or squeezing as much dopamine they can get out of the little free time they have left in their life to notice how that need for control is hurting innovation and potentially a better way of life.

Theyâre likely afraid of any type of decentralization as they feel it will take revenue from them at one point in time and in time weâll see a new decentralized app based mobile platform overtake them.
the app store monopolies have been problematic for a long time and are more of a problem with each passing day, still amazed no one has done much (apparently) to resolve it in a meaningful way. yes it's a lot of work, will continue thinking a lot about this

kinda wild that DAMUS is being removed by Apple for bitcoin tipping when Twitter has had fully integrated Bitcoin tipping features for over a year.

Per post tipping would be a lot cooler. And policy makes no sense you arenât unlocking content by tipping after you already view it
