Replying to Eternal Student

In sad news, I've found that young/ still establishing comfrey doesn't survive multiple days in a row of over 100°f, even with frequent watering. Gonna have to wait until later and buy more to try again.

Apparently not enough mulch but it's been blazing here. I didn't think zone 8 would be this rough.

Those zones are about minimum temperatures.

I still doubt the comfrey died!

Just mulch it & stop watering.
