Absolutely go with the patina. I just used the same concoction on my newly acquired 79 ford followed up with some sweet patina sauce.

I just got some of that for one of my other trucks but haven’t applied it yet! Sounds like you’re happy with the results?

Yeah, it made it shine even more and hid some of the swirlies. I like the patina look on my truck better than the cherry paint on my car lol
