I'm pretty sure we all used it and loved it over the past couple years.

We were in love with a lie. It happens, very close to breaking up.

We thought we loved it because we didn’t know any better

But if we didn't love it then none of us would be here now. I don't think it was a lie. It was just our first love or second love before finding out true love.

It was a lie because it was impossible to have a Bitcoin only feed on Twitter. The algo ensured that angry political crap was being constantly forced into our eyeballs

Lists are a good tool to opt out from algorithms. I just added bitcoiners to a list and if any of them were too negative I would just mute them temporarily. The main feed was mainly good for catching those accounts that I didn't have on my list.

Yeah, I’m with #[2] . Bitcoin twitter lead me directly here.

There may be aspects of current BT that don’t make the transition because we reject the toxicity, but that doesn’t invalidate the whole thing.

It may sound corny, many of us were reborn into this new world of self sovereignty because of the ppl we found there on BT.

"Ignorance is bliss!"

Twitter was always a sham, always had censorship, always mass banned anyone that didn't follow the narrative, gave preferential treatment to blue check mark people, etc. If anyone spent a good amount of time looking into Twitter they would quickly find out just how corrupt that company was. Employees denying blue check marks to people and then approving them if those people paid thousands $$$ to Twitter employees under the table to approve blue check marks, etc. It was painfully obvious the years leading up to the 2016 election just how bad the censorship was. Twitter was always trash where a woke corrupt few controlled the company, regardless of who the CEO at the time was. The woke retards ran the asylum.
