As a proud Québecois, I can assure you we know how to make a fuckton of hydro electricity cheaply and we have a lot of cold here, especially in the winter. I don't see why we wouldn't be able to sustain ourselves by hosting a bunch of datacenters tbh

Not sure what you are proud of. Quebec is a communist province.

Quebec government is full of communists and are anti-bitcoin.

Hydro Quebec is also owned by the crown. There is no free market in Quebec.

not sure what you mean by "we" the Quebec people have no say in anything. Quebec government does what it wants.
