I am in the middle of a 2-month-long refactoring of Amethyst's event and caching system. I have a new appreciation for the event lifecycle needs of each NIP. They are all different. And putting them all in one cache like we did is suicide. The goal is to decrease the memory needs of the app and reduce Amethyst's impact on other applications, especially on lower end phones.

Put this one the invisible improvements devs do that you as a user will never notice.

we notice. 🧑

Thank you sir. If it impacts performance and batter usage, people will notice.

It's not invisible. We with the lower end phones notice.

I appreciate you πŸ’›πŸ‡¬πŸ‡§πŸš’πŸ˜Ž

Appreciate your work Vitor🫑

I would probably notice in my phone's battery life, and things generally running better, no?

Only if you notice that apps are not being killed and restarted as frequently as before :)

Please put your findings in a long-form post.

Is that why my 'following' feed at times show no posts after 2023?
