I didn’t become a martial arts instructor to fight or hurt people. I did so to be able to defend myself from those who wanted to.
I don’t carry an umbrella because I want it to rain.
I don’t own guns, and I didn’t train in firearms or executive protection to harm people—I did it to protect life, my own and those I love.
There’s nothing unspiritual about the ability to protect yourself and the ones you love.
