Thanks! I'll do my homework tonight... Anything must-do/must-see while we're there? I saw vids of what looked like a farmers market in Dominical but I haven't figured out when/where it is.

I stayed at Whales Tail, they have hostel rooms, but I think they have private rooms too. And the facility is gorgeous. Hammocks, an outdoor awning chill area, pool.

I think this is the best option perhaps. He also mentioned he likes Rancho Pacífico / shipwrecked / nativos

Awesome, thanks! I was actually looking there but I only saw weekly rentals. We were only able to swing 2 nights in Uvita. I'll reach out though to see if they'd be willing to accommodate a shorter reservation. The place looks beautiful.
