Amethyst is aggressive against spam and has a reporting system. This can inadvertently allow for users to get shadow muted across the client either automatically via repeating the same note or via users reporting that user. It's not a perfect system, but it does remove a lot of unwanted spam. Tony submitted a PR to get this feature removed. Vitor closed the request. Tony forked Amethyst and removed that feature and is going to publish a separate client.

In my personal opinion, it's too aggressive and it needs to be tweaked. I think we need spam prevention and don't want it removed all together. I think we could probably find a common ground. 🫂 That said, I don't like finding new users to follow and realize that I have them blocked automatically for me.

Awesome, thanks! I was actually looking there but I only saw weekly rentals. We were only able to swing 2 nights in Uvita. I'll reach out though to see if they'd be willing to accommodate a shorter reservation. The place looks beautiful.

I don’t care about the shit talk but I also will never forget the friends who forsaken me.

I totes went into the conference with a bad attitude and came out pleasantly surprised. I think the ordinals shit is noise, but you guys are selling a product to a wide audience and you can't pick winners and losers. Aside from that, you guys very clearly took feedback to heart last year and improved on every critique, from stage size to schedule overlap to ditching all of the waste and excess (I'm looking at you, Hannibal)... Everything was better. The atmosphere was better because it didn't feel like a bunch of giant empty rooms. I came in expecting it to be my last. I left with a ticket to Nashville.
