Largely, compassion (heart) for self and others is more effective than logic. But the ego (brain) wants to understand what it is sometimes not meant to, creating destructive loops.
Using the heart to realize we are each on a healing journey no matter how it looks on the outside (no one can understand our journey fully and we cannot understand another’s fully), we free ourselves from over analysis leading to destructive loops.
By choosing to go in/heal with compassion for ourselves and others (esp those who have hurt or ‘wronged’ us), we can free ourselves from the brain/ego. All we can really ever control is ourselves and heart allows us to have the ability to find our own freedom. Meditation / breath / somatic work helps.
