Now that the head of China is coming to San Francisco to participate in the presidential summit, I'm told that there's been a flurry of activity cleaning the streets of trash, removing graffiti, busding out the homeless and increased police presence etc. You know, all those functions that you'd expect from a functioning and civilized city. Cool. Can they stop the violent crime and murders too? Would be very cool!
Now, what does this imply?
It implies to me that the #SF #SFBA city leadership don't have their priorities in order. I might go out on a limb and say that the city too doesn't give a fuck about running a city properly in the broad public interest.
