Try both, go talk to the priests. As for Catholicism I’d try to find a traditional Latin mass parish (TLM). They are based. Study church history, study the saints study the Eucharist. But a fair warning, if you are serious about this you will be attacked spiritually, weird things will happen, you’ve got to push through this part. Praying daily will limit this.
