There’s gotta be some workaround/loophole
yes you have to redirect them out of the app into a web browser. Many apps do this.

1. Web page that shows LN invoice details, incl. pubkey as description
2. Ask user to click "lightning://" btn to pay invoice
3. Wallet opens, user pays
4. Profit
Maybe use SFSafariViewController instead of sending users out of your app entirely to Safari proper?
