I still have one of those that gets used occasionally
I used to have a Palm Pilot. These were awesome! They had early handwriting recognition but you basically had to learn its alphabet shapes called Graffiti. When you got home you’d sync it and it would back up your notes, download messages and articles for you.
After my park pilot I got my first blackberry. Still have a refurbished one in the basement.
