How does one know anything? How do we come to a place of understanding and true knowledge?
I agree, it’s important to be able discern the difference (easier said than done). The sad problem is being so skeptical that we meet and align with the people that could aid us in the fight against tyranny, yet turn them away? In this case, although our beliefs, perspectives, and life experiences may be different we are on the same ‘side’
It’s why so called meat space so important. I am currently taking a few days off wandering around. Chucked some shit in that car which I haven’t used (Dive gear, surf board etc) and went without plan including where to stay. I have found it interesting that ending up in conversations about skepticism on covid and jabs, potential of bitcoin and fuck up of monetary system are much more common and easier that even a year ago. You have to give benefit of doubt to people you meet in both spaces. Meat space just easier as eyes are visible

In the woods most of the time sounds great but don’t isolate yourself too much. What we need in the world right now is simple recognition that while many people need to learn not to be assholes, deep down, most people aren’t! I’d appreciate photo of woods for curiosity. I live in jungle. Maybe not quite the same. Photo is a strangler tree. If you don’t know what that is, look it up. Pretty cool

I don’t have uniform metrics. This can prove beneficial and detrimental simultaneously (learned from past experience). Although useful, concreate measures can detract from true essence. I’ve known nostr:npub1mdgx4zvhlhwu5lyz7qpk3auehgzaf6frlcshur0zdee0hta3sa3slpj2aj for some time and had him over recently. Others I know, but I won’t mention here. As humans, I know we have idiosyncrasies (after all, who am I to judge based on these temporal metrics) . On a base level, If you turn out to be a decent human and take action to further the advancement of our species in a positive way , selflessly, I would like to know you more. I don’t claim to be all knowing or smarter than the average but enjoy interacting with those that strive to be / do greater. I think these measures are subjective based on the individual but I’ve been blessed to know many based on them
I’m building an onboarding client for friends sharing nostr in person. Our webs of trust will benefit greatly with more of these connections. Like anchors for cyber space.
