You're very right. I think that it really depends on your skill set and your audience as to what tack you take. Here's my take.

The truth that fiat is dying and Bitcoin is the only life raft is hard to swallow on its own. There's no real nice way to say, "hey everything sucks, buy the orange coin and suffer now to flourish in 5 years." Some people can pull it off better than others. I'm not in that camp.

Being toxic can make it even harder to accept, and it is repellant to some. But in my opinion, it stands as an opposition to the sweet, silver words of scammers. Someone hearing that you can make it with a mix of shitcoins or staking rewards or leveraged options will also hear the insane, mad ravings of toxic maximalists. Most will ignore them and choose the nice option with big payoffs and get rekt, but a few will wonder why there are so many people opposed to it and stay out of trouble.

I'm here for the few that will stop and listen, because I can't compete in the realm of "nice" against fake-smiled, forked-tongue scammers.

I get the toxicity and its benefit and I've talked to people who say they appreciate it because of other people being toxic cuz then they wake up.

I do think there's a balance cuz you can never wake up someone who's pretending to be sleeping. and I do believe the current realm of bitcoin content doesn't necessarily get the job done cuz there are so many people who are not yet interested in economics or technology are already bitcoiners and they just don't know it.

So similar to these great content creators finding an angle to get the point crossed, I'm approaching bitcoin through the human experience with my podcast so hopefully to tackle the cultural and emotional side of bitcoin to onboard more people - the mass need to realize that bitcoiners are human, too, and ultimately we want the same thing, and it can be achieved with bitcoin.

Much more conviction if they can land on that argument themselves.
