Breedlove represented himself as a virtuous traditional married Christian family man. He condemned the use of porn. He preached traditional values. He said explicitly that he was going through a divorce. Do you divorce a girlfriend?

His subsequent dating a porn star is hypocritical and doesn’t at all comport with the persona he put out there. This adds another blemish to the whole Bitclout shitcoining debacle. The point is that his actions make him untrustworthy.

I don’t take his ex’s words at face value but they don’t look good. It’s sad because Robert is obviously supremely talented and has done a lot for educated people about Austrian economics.

I appreciate your loyalty and standing up for your influencer buddy but maybe he should read and act on the integrity chapter of your little bushido book. If I were you I would’ve just sat this one out Alex.

I see a guy who wrote a few essays (which I still enjoy), started a podcast and monetized his audience at first opportunity. He seems open about it 🤷

Is he progressing Austrian-thought forward or just cultivating an audience like every other engagement-motivated entity?

I think he’s supremely talented and done great things. That’s undeniable. but his actions with bitclout and now this just make it hard to trust him.

The entire bitcoin movement is about honesty. You can’t present yourself as Trad Dad then date a porn star and expect no backlash.

Take the sex aspect out of it. Imagine he talked about nutrition and seed oils are bad sugar is bad but then dates an executive at Nestle or some

other fiat food company. That’s what’s bad about it idgaf if she’s in porn per se.

Stoicism is for losers. That’s not what I wrote about. I wrote about warfare, Valor and virtue.

And bail on what business partners?

I solo founded a company, and when the government singled me out bc of my view on lockdowns, and tried to force me to surveil my users, I walked away from 5yrs of work, and took nothing with me.

Show me the business you built.

Show me the money you left on the table.

Show me the books you wrote and research you did.
