Are these just the most recent images or are they mini albums (I guess like IG story highlights)?

I was thinking one album but could be multiple? 🧐
I like the idea of multiple, but then where does it stop? Is there a limit of albums? In IG stories I think you can have as many highlights as you want but each highlight only holds 100 images/videos.
