Is there something for image lists (aka albums)? I think users should choose images for their galleries and clients should not just show every meme there.
This would be manually uploaded albums and not from notes
I just wonder if we could keep these across clients (aka with a list or something). But good to have them separated in any way. I think as Nostr is more than IG, people post all kinds of things and galleries should be beautiful and not chaos π€
Are these just the most recent images or are they mini albums (I guess like IG story highlights)?

I like this. Should probably have an easy way to see more in a grid view and also link to the corresponding notes they were posted in.
These would not be from notes. Notes media would be elsewhere. I was thinking optional titles and descriptions. Maybe people can zap them too π€

I guess in "edit profile" there'd be a "profile gallery" with one field for image link and an image upload button, and bellow that is a "+" button to add more fields.
Or another way:
One field to add a note id that contains the images you want and that's it, and adds all images from that note. Also, if someone wants, there'd be a "+" button below that which ads another field for a other note ID, which changes the presentation to showcase each ID added as an album in the end (with a tick option to showcase all images as instead of albums).
Good ideas. I was thinking both settings and via UI - either single or bulk image upload. Like the idea of importing from notes too.

What is it where a pinned note stack
The more features the better, as long as devs have some idea of what's getting used and is therefore worth the maint.
I've been thinking and wanting similar since first discovering NOSTR. The decentralized aspect is amazing. But it would be phenomenal if we could have traditional photo albums similar to Facebook with the ability to arrange and rearrange as desired.
So we can see a constant feed of pictures of food and no seed oil memes....no thanks
You can add your memes there.
Could it maybe be linked to a specific hosted folder or you just set up to 5-6 individual photos? A nostr.build folder, for example, or group of photos on a web server would be cool.
