Well yeah, meetup has a network effect working in its favor (its name is the thing people are trying to do), but it's also expensive & they censor the creation of certain groups. What does that have to do with overcoming flockstr's network effect problems?

People who want to use flockstr can much more easily get a small group of people onboard with their group, even if it's hosted on some weird obscure site, whereas Twitter and Facebook's network effects are much harder.
