I think the world it always changing and so ossification will never occur, there will come a time when society is very different from how it is today. And hard money will have to adapt or be replaced, I don’t think this will be anytime soon but I think bitcoin will be used for hundreds of years and eventually this will happen.

Base layer does change though, for example segwit and taproot. It won’t change much or often but I think equivalent things will always happen.

I’m just not technical enough to even have a deep conversation about base layer. Just obvious ‘don’t fuck with it’ . Layer 2/3 stuff 🤷‍♂️
