Childhood friend of my wife just died fighting in the war in Ukraine. He was my age. Can’t wait for this nightmare to end and the people responsible be held accountable.

Oh. I am sorry to hear that. It is hard to imagine that a war continues to rage on while the rest of us are leading relatively peaceful lives. What evil lives in the heart of those are responsible for it!
My mother-in-law was forced to move from Ukraine to Canada one year ago, not on her own terms. It’s unclear if and when she will go back. Several of our friends also had to do the same, but to the UK. Some stayed in Ukraine because they had no choice. Many tragedies exist in this world, and this is one of them.
