I have an ethical conundrum concerning XMR.

If they problem with privacy coins being that it’s only a matter of time before they get shutdown because they cannot be tracked, why would banks and the governments get rid of paper and physical coin currencies be taken off the market as well. They can’t be tracked as well. Just a curious observation.

#bitcoin is all that matters. Crypto is gheyyy

Still not an answer. I just want a logical explanation of why they look at something like XMR as shady when physical currency has the same attributes when it comes to transparency. I can give cash to a drug dealer. Can’t be tracked. I can pay for my groceries with cash. Can’t be tracked. Just want an explanation.

It's an unregistered security

Then all of crypto is, which has been mostly disproven through the court’s decision with ripple. Still not a viable answer

Plus, I’m pretty sure it would pass the howie test.

I see no one can answer this question.

No. I'm poor... if I could fund myself I wouldn't be poor.... I could fuck myself but that's because my dick is more than long enough to reach my asshole... I can't fud myself because idek what that means.

Because they don't have any direct control over Monero. Every other reason is a ruse.

There is already a push in many countries to phase out cash to take away that little bit of privacy. You are already percieved as automatically shady or guilty just by having or using cash.

They look at cash as shady as well and appears there is some effort to phase it out.

Cash is ingrained and it's hard to remove it.

There’s the possibility that they get taken off the markets YOU are in, not others.

There is already a big push to do what you're saying. They are trying to get rid of physical currency like cash in many countries and replace them with fully controlled and surveilled CBDCs. FedNow is the precursor of that in the USA launched back in July.
