Wow I hate the EU

Not defending EU on this, but for example US has required fingerprints already from 2004 from everyone traveling there with a visa.

Basically any major country / regional political organization has introduced or is introducing this kind of bionetrical "security" checks at their borders.

US, China, Russia, UK, etc ..

TBH EU was a laggard in this trend..
