I would love to find others willing to go camping with. I have always had trouble finding others willing to buy all the gear required.

If you’re not comfortable heading out solo, you should try joining a club. There are many outdoors clubs that arrange group camping trips.

I have mainly gone solo. Its amazing. I do love the solitude. I have only tried the Meetup website but never went through with it. I’m sure the interest is a lot bigger out west.
