The US government makes people wait over 2 years in some places for an appointment to get a tourist visa. This is insane and nobody seems to care or talk about it.

Privatize it with payments based on actual performance around speed and the rate at which those g eta need visas or immigration commit criminal activity, e.g. give incentives for good and socially beneficial services
