most days i feel the peace and opportunity of where i am now.
i am amazed at how i ended up here, and thankful.
but in the background i always have a feeling like we are on the verge of something of global scale that is going to require serious faith and resilience.

I feel the same. I worry a little but it’s also a nervous excitement (maybe I’m naive). But I wonder if this feeling, to the less blessed and fortunate, would be interpreted as a feeling of “impending doom.” And wonder if it has anything to do with the anxiety and depression that plagues the young generations. That’s what we get for being born in a 4th turning I guess
I think that is normal. God intended for us to live our lives day by day “give us this day our daily bread”. While our hope for eternity is certain in Christ, we’ll never know whether tomorrow holds comfort or calamity. We do our best to live honorably and then humbly accept that which is out of our control.
