You will get ultimate internet privacy if you don't use internet.
I'm typing this on my typewriter, then I fax it from a post office (because that's the only office having faxes any more) with polite request to be broadcasted 🤪

I saw something on HN the other day complaining about why governments and other public sector stuff still use fax at all. Something like Fax will never die. I want to remind those people that the only other alternative the government would spend billions for is a telescreen mobile app, requiring me to own a smart phone. A low percentage of the population is equipped to use a smartphone anyway, they shouldn't own one IMO.
Be happy with fax machines.
I hope you got it's all just a silly joke.
Couple of weeks back I read that japanese gov stopped using floppies.
Fax is also fascinating with it's ne2ee (none end-to-end encryption) still being used...
Yes. Although I'm not lol. To be fair most email doesn't use existing e2ee features. I don't think more technology is a net benefit for privacy, especially with our relationship to governments.
Tru.
It's been a long time to even get https as a norm.
There's plenty other things to improve.
But we learn and adapt.
