Being #vegan is pretty dope. Not saying what folks should or shouldn’t do, but I enjoy it after about 4 years now.

As anything research, each and every body is different, and choose what feels right for you.

I arrived at veganism through mainly ethical concerns and align with some (not all such as his more grand approach to utilitarianism where I see value in Nussbaum’s capability approach) of Singer’s points here: https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Animal_Liberation_(book) nostr:note1fqrslgr46hfuq69ssc9alpgnzfs8f2k9tfj2gj6tylanr8g53vuqads6j9

I was strict vegetarian for something like six years in my late teens and early twenties mainly for ethical reasons, nearly vegan but not quite (had some ricotta cheese).

I eventually did more research on paleo diets and on permaculture farms (farms that mix animals with plants and thus mimic nature more closely, like grass-fed cows, or orchards where goats and chickens are brought through to eat bugs and weeds and to fertilize the ground, etc.)

I personally find that my well-being and measurable health metrics are way better on a low-carb meat-oriented diet, which is what I have been eating for over a decade. But I focus heavily on the source of the meat, and try to be a maxi for permacultures and soil-building.

I only can afford to eat taco bell. Sometimes i get the $2 black bean burrito bc its 410 calories for $2

As a kid I put Taco Bell sauce on everything.
