Yes. It took several times of hanging out at talks before we each realized the other was on Nostr.
I also met a person who already lived in my town via nostr.
Both were very surprising to me. I do live in kinda a techy town, but I didn't expect it to be the kind of tech I think is cool. LOL
I just arrived on Nostr, I'm talking about it around me, no one knows about it yet, but maybe I'll end up finding a user.
