did bitcoin make it easier for governments to attack our privacy ? the fact that the transactions are public and they can spy easily, did that work against us in loosing the privacy we always had until now ?

No. In the very near future the only bits of information that can be trusted will be on the Bitcoin network. It will be impossible to verify anything on the internet soon.
Bitcoin is the solution to the fiat problem 🙏🏼 Higher layers of the protocol (e.g. Lightning layer 2 - and more to come) make it more private. Physical proof of truth will be on Bitcoin.

according to Keonne Rodriguez, bitcoin made is easier to be spied on and tracked. without privacy, you are a powerful solution, but not the solution. especially with centralized mining. everything has a yin and a yang. there are ongoing efforts to improve the privacy of the lightning network but they are still not completely untrackable. in time maybe ? that would be great ! it's really about all of us working together because we have a common goal of being free happy humans roaming the earth, having the best time ever !
to the fiat problem itself, yes, but the lack of privacy leaves us vulnerable. it makes me feel watched and uneasy. public transactions on an open ledger can be the blueprint for a digital financial prison.
