After being a part of it for about 2 years (with, admittedly, a couple of unintentional breaks), I love hearing people say they hate Nostr because … Well … Plain and simple it’s them admitting they’re cucks to the centralization and algos ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ I said what I said!

I love nostr too. But I do get very low interaction on my notes, to the point where I started worrying I did not set up my relays right. But I think they are. But it's zero sometimes, when I thought I would be getting at least a few likes.
I feel you! Sometimes I get a couple of likes on random stuff. And then there is a "beautiful" note I creae and boom: nothing. 🤣

It is hard at first for sure. Especially when you are more an Instagram type and no X/Twitter guy!

I tried #X for years and it sucks!
I think finding the right client initially is a big thing. I started with amethyst and couldn't really figure it out. Then I tried primal and loved that it was kind of pre setup like a "traditional" social platform. Then when I went back to amethyst I was able to see everything/ everyone I wanted with all the cool perks of amethyst. I have no knowledge of coding so I can't get the full experience of building on nostr but I do think I'm going to try a new client again soon to see what differences it has. I just have no idea which one to pick!
