1. Why someone recording like they gonna post this on social media and not getting beaten too?
2. Why these unvoluntary soldiers forcing someone else to volunteer?
3. Why punch someone who you want to volunteer in the face?

Now that I've given it some thought, I wonder if this video might be staged. If it were my friend or son, I wouldn't hesitate for a second and would do everything in my power to hold onto him with both hands. That seems much more realistic to me. In that situation, I wouldn't even consider the idea of filming. What do you think? (I don't doubt that forced recruitments happen.) However, after reflecting on it, I now have my doubts about the authenticity of this video.

I've seen dozens of them but never wanted to post them. Here what motivated me is that it comes directly from the former Ukrainian Prime Minister. I apologize if this video bothered you.
It doesn’t bother me at all. I just try to stay critical about everything I see online. If something really hits it‘s propably intended to do so. And it did - like you can see on my first and natural reaction.
But after some reflection I came to the conclusion that to hold on with both hands would be a natural reaction too.
Filming isn’t.
And that the former prime minister did change his stance on the conflict is well known.
We also know that Zelensky has decided to requisition all adult males of fighting age, and I imagine that there are some holdouts among them, which is to be expected.

When it was not filmed just imagine what people like you would have thought.. something like "Without a video there is no proof"what would be the outcome of holding on? He would have been taken either way. It was to many against to few.

Just for your information: Even if since 2014 the russian minority is tried to be demolished... Russian Is still widely spoken in Ukraine. And as I can understand what they say I would assume it's a slawic language not a cyrillic one.
