Custom Feeds, yet another feature Big Tech somehow never bothered to implement.

Anything I'm missing?

(DVM feeds are in separate category for me)

Maybe have multiple of these Custom feeds pre-built? The more we learn, the more we realize most people don't have just one feed. They go back and forth between multiple "moods" during the day.

Yup, Indeed. I would ship with a few default feeds (including DVM feeds). This is just the screen for when you want to add or edit one of those feeds.

Home page would look sth like this, where your most used feeds are displayed:

Presets… interesting idea. Reminds me of swiping left and right on Twitter between lists, but better.

Maybe we need a custom feeds event type to setup multiple of these with a combination of options for lists, kinds and ordering in each custom feed. 🤔

GM.

Great idea.

Making feeds based off of relays and/or communities?

There's likely a trade-off with how complex a page like this could get, but those are 2 other possibilities.

Indeed, I have those noted as well.

I think relay-filtering is great is you're searching for particular notes or highlights etc... But not necessarily for feed curation (yet).

And if we start to see some relays more like communities and places you visit then I'd like to start integrating that "visiting" aspect in the designs.

It also would be nice to only show the title of nodes before I open them, and hide all posts without title
