Gossip doesn't have any proxy configuration or SOCKS knowledge. Sorry.

yeah but goin back to torsocks probably - as soon get py or nodejs version issues fixed on linux

You can try Clash on GH, installed on a separate linux box and with defined iptables rules it bridges traffic from LAN to Socks/Vmess/Trojan protocols. An then use IP address of this linux box as gateway.

u r suggestion is good for linux - but gossip is on windows - windows proxifiers r not firendly.
