When people start eating more red meat and avoid sugar, grains & beans, and seed oils, they often feel significantly better within days. It’s remarkable how one “cheat meal” can make you feel awful.

Once you stop poisoning your body, you begin to feel just how toxic those foods really are.

I've been allowing myself a cheat meal a little too often lately.

So true!

The only one you’re cheating with these cheat meals is yourself.

What about the white meat??? Chicken g2g?

One of the most pathetic things I’ve encountered since cutting out all toxic foods is the amount of people who say something like “I could never eat like that. It’s so boring and I just love food so much.” This is always coming from people with medical issues stemming directly from their toxic diet. Like yeah it feels good eating ice cream but you’re chronically depressed and aging rapidly.

Nothing feels better than being physically optimal and being a disciplined individual.

So true. Same with quitting booze.

I get more questions about my well being since quitting 2 years ago than when I drank.

Nobody ever said “wow, you drink alcohol. Everything good?”

It's simple now, if I cheat I know I will be sick, not just feel bad.

So I learned the hard way to be very careful if eating junk food (sugar, grains, beans, seed oils) is worth being sick for.

i feel sick if i don't work out for more than a week.

it's scary that most people don't work out at all.

You are still a health freak :-) and you do want to live longer .. and that is a good thing !

Guilty 😂😂

You should study nutrition and medicine

agreed I sometimes try a little bit of "normal" food when out and I usually don't feel right after that. meat always makes me feel good: lamb beef pork chicken bacon and some eggs

So true. I always value my cheat moments for this very reason. It’s a reminder that you’re doing the right thing for your mind and body

one cheat meal of process foods or seed oils always makes me feel horrible along with joint soreness for like two days

Its like clockwork

Grains and beans aren't toxic and they aren't junk food. Don't lie.

Why beans? I know the whole lechtin thing (but those are cooked out). I know the carb thing, but these are complex not causing spikes. Bean are super healthy. They have kept most of the planet alive. Combined with rice they are a complete food. It was the one thing centenarians ate in a huge study. The people living to 100 ate beans daily. Meat is good too. I think the goal is eat REAL food that God made and you'll be better off. BTW I'm not arguing against meat and avoiding sugar (both great ideas). Eat meat, avoid sugar but don't forget beans either.

Slow cooked some lamb, roasted potatoes and vegetables last night, all cooked with ghee for the first time. Today has been a super productive day. Felt great, super productive, cycled plenty and feeling good. Anecdotal of course but I've felt a noticeable change.

I don't understad what is wrong with grain and been
