Days of asking for zaps without a purpose are gone. Asking for zaps just because you want without any clear objective gets bad looks (not everyone but mostly I believe).
We are entering into the era of community growth and maturation. The tourists are mostly gone and the ones who are active here are the ones growing their influence on newcomers. Be an example for them, provide value to others are get rid of the zap-begging mentality.

100%. I also think zapping for the sake of zapping will fade and more solid use cases will flow. P2P marketplaces might be a good value transfer. Plebeian.market is working on nostr integration I believe. Will be interesting to see how it all evolves
IMO zapping will never go away. It’s a way to show your support to the OG poster and how much value you receive from he/she.
