Very good tip!

However

I would like to add that my first mp3 player had 256MB storage. And now my phone has 256GB. 1000X

My first laptop had 512 mb ram. Now my phone has 12 GB ram. my computer has even more.

My first iPhone had 16GB of storage, now you can get a 2TB iPad. And iPhone start at 128GB? I am not sure as I don't use any apple devices anymore.

I'm trying to say that another option is just paying for more storage now. And later your 2TB worth of stuff will take only 5% of the total capacity of future mobile devices. And you get to keep master quality.

Remember 8GB / 16GB / 32 GB flash drives?

Now they are: 128GB / 256GB / 512GB

Just pay

$200 for 2TB

$400 for 4TB

laptop NVME ssd and 5 years later phones will START at 2 TB and up.

So you are completely right, and I can not say anything against what you just said. 100% correct.

But at the same time you don't need to warm up your CPU running Handbrake and deleting master files. When you can just spend $200 now and in 5 years your shit will take 5% of total storage.
