Ooo lots of things to consider when deciding on languages and technologies to use. It’s a bit of a journey and it is highly dependent on what you’re interested in building and what resonates with you. I’m very much a backend dev (although I do front end work for clients when they need it), and that lends itself to different technologies than someone who really enjoys FE work. Basically… try things, learn things, but ultimately, pay attention to the things that resonate to you and don’t be afraid to pivot. You steer your own ship. And whatever language or area you decide to start in… there’s a community here of people with all sorts of skills, so don’t be afraid to ask for help

Very well said. I came to programming through data analytics so python was a no brainer due to its versatility! I’m being more enticed by rust lately as I’m becoming more interested in a broader range of coding. As Katie said, exploring the multitude of options is a bit of a journey - might be helpful to look up some projects you are interested in and see what tool kits they are using
