When I was a kid and you wanted to look something up, you had to drive to the library.

Loved it

Indeed! I remember when my parents bought us a set of Encyclopedia Britannica.

Was a fkn game changer.

Thank goodness I didn't. I hate libraries. Hated them before, hate them now. I feel trapped and depressed inside them.

Love the digital revolution. Need a book, get a PDF or ePub. Done!

Also miss encyclopedias. The little work needed to find the subject at hand. ☺️

Man I would go back in a heartbeat.

Mr E just spent the morning at the library with my mom and he had a blast! πŸ“– #[2] was very proud of one of his choices πŸ’œ #[3]

I had my suspicions, and you just confirmed them-

That kid is gonna shock the world one day

Kudos! Following in dad’s footsteps. It’s never too early to start. I started coding at the age of 12 and look back on that life and career changing experience very fondly. #dreamjob

using the cards to look up a book and the Dewey decimal system to find its location. It was like a treasure hunt.
