I got my @ss kicked in school one time (4th or 5th grade). I was grounded for fighting in school. But then my pops signed me up for boxing camp that summer to which my uncle drove me to the gym everyday for 2 months.

Pops rationale: all men have a monster within them.

The difference between the dead men and the ones in jail are the ones that understood what their monster was capable of and how to keep that monster at bay untill it was summoned.

Boxing camp was about learning what that monster was capable of. As for not being "deaded" or in jail....I was luckier then the others.
