And this is why I no longer pay into my pension, even a SIPP. The countries pot is simply too large for them to keep their mitts out of.

Totally. Never really your money. I have a work based pension that is now in MSTR. It’s done pretty well but it funny, I kind of assume it might get taken away by the time I can actually access it. Hopefully not but the more you see how the system works the more you see it’s possible
That is my assumption too. That said, I found a UK Pension provider that apparently allows your SIPP to go into a self-custody bitcoin wallet. Need to follow this up.
Let’s see when was the last time “Great” Britain did anything notable militarily ??
