I don't get why I have to give such info to activate my primal wallet
can someone explain why is this needed when the primal devs could have just implemented an wallet that works without needing this?

I’m not sure, I’m also new here. From what I’ve seen you can hide your email if you use Proton Mail and just put fake data. That’s what I did and it activated. You don’t need selfie and picture of your ID

Primal wallet is convenient but uses Strike on the backend. They require KYC.
