Mutton is adult sheep?
How does it compare to lamb taste-wise? I've been interested in trying some.

Hey nunya. In my experience it is richer meat. We raise Katahdin sheep that have been bred, in part, for flavor. I prefer it to lamb.

How old is a sheep before the slaughtered meat is considered mutton?
I figure at least 1 year old but what happens at 5 years old? Does the flavor profile change?
