I'll have to try, though I can't imagine it's better than a good sear (depending on the cut)

It isn’t better than a good sear and basting with butter, but if you have a good cut it doesn’t make much of a difference.

Well, as long as the air fryer is one of the better ones and gets hot enough. Lol
