You can’t actually delete an account. This is just for Damus to pass App Store requirements. He’s trying to revert the deletion rn
Right but it does make the account inaccessible to the user. So is this what the “deleted account” is supposed to look like afterwards? #[3]

How can an account be "deleted"? It should work just like a Bitcoin public address, right? You just need the private keys.
Yea I think it’s just a client specific blacklist, basically. He just posted a reply from that npub after the “deletion” so clearly it’s still useable at least from other clients.
I don’t believe Damus actually sends out delete events for every note, since it might not be aware of all your notes. It looks like it only sends out a profile metadata event. Is this correct #[2]
