Great point, never thought of it in such absolute terms but I think you’re exactly right.

Only difference being, #bitcoin predated crYpT0, which was a series of centralized attempts to copy or improve upon it, usually with impure intent

Whereas from what I know about Twitter early days the intent was to make it much more pure ie. as a protocol, but over time it became bastardized and now Nostr returns us to those purer roots
